Our Fair City: the Live Episode!

September 6, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

| $15

“Have you done all you can for your Company? Have you really?”

Our Fair City is bringing its live audio drama to the 2013 Chicago Fringe Festival! Our Fair City: the Live Episode will feature a very special engagement of “The Archibald FunnyPants Variety Hour,” a late-night style show with stories, scenes, music, advertisements, and live foley set in a post-apocalyptic bureaucratic future.

Our Fair City is a darkly funny, highly whimsical look at consumerism and just how bad things can get. Set in the notsodistant future, the skies are stormy and the landscape is a vast frozen tundra. Lightning rigs high above the city gather energy from thunderstorms, mad scientists walk the earth, and adorably monstrous Molepeople dig tunnels deep underground to expand the city’s habitable space.

We’ll be performing: Friday, September 6th at 7pm Saturday, September 7th at 5:30 and Sunday, September 8th at 8:30

Tickets will be $15 (or $10 with a Fringe Button) Remember- the Fringe button is your admission into the entire festival, so be sure to get one: they won’t let you into the show without one!

Hold the Pickles Stage: 5320 W Giddings, Basement, Chicago, IL, 60630.

Our Fair City: The Live Episode! was written by Clayton Faits with David Rheinstrom and Mark Soloff, directed by Jeffrey Gardner, and features Mark Soloff, Lise ‘Kat’ Evans, Sebastian H Orr, Jared Latore, and Betsey Palmer, with live foley by David Rheinstrom. Stage management by Catherine Cefalu.
