ABOUT BYRON HATFIELD:

Byron Hatfield created Bye Bye Liver in 2006, and the show has been going strong ever since, now playing in Boston, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville and Philadelphia, as well as Chicago. He wrote and directed Love Me, Tinder, which swiped the comedy community in June, and is currently directing the pilot for The Show Might Go On for The Public House Theatre’s film arm, PubHouse Productions.

ABOUT THE DANCING PIG:

“Five Guys. Five Personalities. No personal Filters.”
The Dancing Pig has been entertaining audiences with their rabid sense of humor since 2010. There is no line to cross and nothing is ever off limits. All studied at Second City, and traditional collegiate theater programs, so they bring a sense of realness to every crude joke they tell.
The Dancing Pig has performed in the Chicago Sketch Fest in 2013, 2014. They were winners of Stage 773′s “Cagematch” and were selected to perform in the 2013 Columbus Brew Ha Ha Festival at The Shabowbox Live Theater. The Dancing Pig has also produced several show runs, including Please Sir, May I Have Some War, Oh Brother! The Rent was Due and We Were Having Fun Until…

Byron Hatfield on Reddit:

BH: As a Redditor and karma* whore, I have long wanted to do something around this community that visits obsessively about 1,000 times a day. I want to bring to the audience laughter, debate and a sense of community, just like Reddit itself.

SH: What inspired you to partner with The Dancing Pig?

BH: In their last show (Please Sir, May I Have Some War), the exemplified the nature of weirdness, counter-culture and proud cynicism that Reddit embodies.

SH: How did you become a devoted Redditor?

BH: You’ve clearly never been to Reddit. (He winks.)

SH: You introduced me to Reddit by laughing me awake at 3 in the morning.

BH: That’s fair. I find so much credible information and really healthy debate that it’s like the Wikipedia of Human Experience.

SH: I have to ask, would you rather fight a horse-sized duck or one hundred duck sized horses?

BH: Duck-sized horse, definitely.

SH: Any final words?

BH: Geraffes are dumb.
