The Chicago Nerd Social Club is looking to add committees to the organization to help reach out to the individual nerd communities. Volunteers looking to head up any of our committees will allow you to meet other likeminded nerds and be involved in bringing the community together.

Currently, we are looking for 3-4 individuals each to fill the following committees for the 2010 calendar year:

• Comic Books
• Anime/Manga
• Role Playing Games/MMORPG
• Board Games
• Computer Programmers
• Computer Geeks
• Video Games
• Electronics/Electrical Engineering

Requirements for Candidates

• Must be interested and involved in your committee topic
• Willing to volunteer 5-8 hours a week to the Chicago Nerd Social Club
• Willing to plan events specialized to your topic with the other members of your committee
• Able to work in a team environment
• Capable of interacting with the Chicago business community
