We’ve experimented with hosting our annual Halloween party in a public bar and as a private event in a restaurant. Building on each year’s feedback about what you’ve loved and what you haven’t, we’re trying something new to keep Nerd-O-Ween an excellent and inexpensive event that brings the local nerd community together.
This year, we’re going DIY-style and taking over our favorite community black box theater at Cards Against Humanity!
As always, Nerd-O-Ween will feature our popular costume contest, with prizes for Most Original, Best Mashup, and Most Authentic Costumes. The event is 21+. Admission is $10, which includes a ticket for our drawing for a chance to win fabulous prizes. We’ll be providing snacks and nonalcoholic beverages while they last-in the spirit of nerd community, please feel free to BYO favorite treats or adult beverage to share!
Costumes aren’t required—just your awesome nerdy self—but we do love it when people attend in costume, and historically the majority of attendees have done so. Get creative, get nerdy, and get ready for new friends to get your references!
