Election Eve Town Hall Debate: DC vs Marvel

This election season, YOU can make a difference. Once and for all, we’re going to lay to rest the age old nerd-rivalry of comic books. Marvel or DC? Batman or Iron Man? Superman or The Hulk?

Terry Gant, Owner of Third Coast Comics and Loyal Devotee of all things Legion of Super Heroes related and Matt Boresi, Master Thespian and Iron Chef of Opera as well as unabashed Marvel Maven will square off in a Battle of Ideologies! YOU VOTE on the ISSUES!

Moderated by Jeff Smith of the Chicago Nerd Social Club. Each candidate will be given 2 minutes to directly respond to your questions and then an additional 2 minutes each to respond to each other. At the end we will be tallying the votes and declaring a winner.

So make sure you’re decked out in your favorite nerd gear. If you want to wear that awesome X-Men costume for halloween one more time, we promise we won’t judge you.


In addition, we will have a trade paperback swap at the event. Do you have a book you no longer need or want to hang on to? Bring it in and swap with other attendees of the event.
( Swap arrangements however are your responsibility. CNSC won’t have any role in retrieving books.)
