Leverage completed its fifth and final season in 2012, but thanks a dedicated fan base, the nerd reference-laden heist show about a gang of Robin Hood-styled thieves, grifters, and con men remains an oft-quoted and recommended favorite among geeks and nerds. Ever wonder what all the fuss is about? Then join us at Chicago Nerd Social Club’s Leverage 101 event, with a panel of CSNC Leverage fans (and a special guest), and hosted by the fine folks at Geek Bar Beta.

Taking part on the panel will be Gordon Dymowski (Chicago Doctor Who Meetup), Jennifer Cross (Just Write Chicago) and Michi Trota (Uncanny Magazine), joined by the Hugo-Award-nominated fan writer Mark Oshiro (Mark Watches, Mark Reads). After starting with a screening of the series pilot, “The Nigerian Job” (which was filmed in Chicago), a discussion and Q&A session with the panelists will follow.
