Nerds Against Humanity

February 15, 2013 @ 11:55 pm - February 16, 2013 @ 1:30 am

| $5

Back by popular demand!

For many, the holidays bring out the best in people. For others, they lead to families and friends drawing out their ugliest and grossest thoughts with one extremely fun card game – and we’re not talking about Apples to Apples.

Join the creators of the incredible Cards Against Humanity, along with the cast of the Nerdologues and guests, for an improv show based on the popular card game – with all of the pixelated bukkake and big, black dicks that come with it.

Tickets are $5
Show on Friday, February 15th at 11:59pm
Loaction: iO Theater 3541 N. Clark Street

Celebrating all things nerdy, the Nerdologues are bringing their unique blend of sketch and solo comedy to the iO Theater. As they weave a narrative of heart and humor, they talk about the anxieties of being the kid who dresses like a Power Ranger, the pains of struggling to learn sports, and life’s truly important questions, like “Why don’t the doors on the Death Star fail-open?

A critics’ pick from Time Out Chicago, the Nerdologues have been described as “inspired,” “self-deprecating,” and “self-aware” by the Chicago Tribune. They host a monthly storytelling event called “Your Stories” as well as many other events throughout the city.

Come and enjoy a night of sketch comedy, music, and community not found anywhere else. Bring your old friends and make some new ones.

Your Nerds are: Claire Friedman, Eric Garneau, Chris Geiger, Joe Gennaro, Steve Persch, Kevin Reader, Andrew Bentley and Alex Talavera with SPECIAL GUESTS!
