Dear Chicago Based Nerds: There are a lot of misconceptions about nerds, but one of the biggest is our distaste for sports. Some of us are avid sports fans while others are interested, but just never had the time to learn. Well CNSC is here to help you out with Football 101, followed up with a special CNSC Football Fantasy League.

The Football 101 event will be your chance to learn about one of America’s beloved sports. We’ll teach you the concepts of the game, core rules, position details and all about penalties. We’ll be taking all those questions you wanted to ask but were afraid to. (Let’s face it, Bears fans can be scary) After the Football 101 lesson, we’ll teach you about Fantasy Football, how it works and get you signed up in a league of fellow nerds for those who are interested.

The CNSC Fantasy league will host a live draft at a location to be determined, which makes the event a great learning experience and an awesome time. So come out and learn all about the sport that’ll have you begging for winter. (Well not really, but it makes it BEARable. OOH! DOUBLE ENTENDRE!)

Cost: FREE. Donations are welcome. You MUST Register to attend the event. A guest list needs to be provided to our host location, so if you don’t register you will not be allowed access. Registration ends on 09/01/2009.
