CNSC New Members Mixer

You asked for it, so here it is! The Chicago Nerd Social Club is having a new members mixer! The event was suggested by one of our awesome members (that would be you Laura) and we decided to put something together. Nothing too fancy, just some nerds hanging out, chatting and getting to know one another. Oh and did we mention boardgames and trivia?

Join us at Fat Cat Bar & Grill on February 2nd from 5pm - 8pm. The folks at Fat Cat have set aside some space for us in their back room so that we can get our nerd on. We’ve got a number of people who have agreed to bring some boardgames and card games. If you have a favorite game, bring it along. So far we’ve got:

• Betrayal at House on the Hill
• Battlestar Galactica
• Munchkin
• Runebound
• Kill Doctor Lucky
• Ascension (Thanks Paul!)
• Small World(Thanks Steve!)

And we’re sure more will show up! So if you’re free stop on by. There’s no charge for the event, but if you wouldn’t mind giving us an RSVP either on Facebook or EventBrite. The Facebook event is located here, but if you don’t do the whole Facebook thing, you can RSVP with EventBrite down below. It’s really just so we can have an approximate head count for the bar. If you didn’t RSVP, you can still attend, so no worries if there are last minute changes.

We’re also working on a small trivia contest to play too. Not too mention we’re working on some cool giveaways for the event. So don’t miss out!
