The Chicago Doctor Who Meetup frequently partners with others to provide Doctor Who fans a chance to meet, socialize, and watch Doctor Who. We’re very happy that the Red Lion Pub in Lincoln Park has generously offered to host a live viewing of the Series 9 Premiere…in glorious High Definition.

Imagine watching the series premiere in a private room of an English Pub, complete with private server and a chance to enjoy Doctor Who in glorious High Definition. We can, and so we worked with Red Lion for a very special premiere party, and are grateful they’re willing to welcome us! (For more information, please check out http://www.redlionchicago.com)

Since this is an exclusive event, we are charging a very small fee - this will help offset the costs of organization, and will be applied towards our Meetup hosting fee. Also, you are responsible for purchasing your own food, as well as tax and gratuity, but the Red Lion has assured us their full menu will be available. If this works, we may have another venue for possible future screens, so let’s show the Lincoln Park Red Lion that we’re more than happy to welcome them as part of the Chicago Doctor Who Meetup family!
