“Geeks” or “nerds” are people who are driven by passion around particular subjects of interest. We’re community-driven, focusing on nontraditional ways to connect professionally and personally. For us, networking isn’t about exchanging business cards and two drink minimums - it’s about building relationships.
Welcome to the Chicago Geek Breakfast - every month, people from a variety of fields (from tech to marketing, from nonprofits to finance) come together to discuss their passions over breakfast. We’re community-driven, believing the best way to build our networks is through getting to know each other. We’re definitely not your traditional networking group….we’re Chicago Geek Breakfast.
We’re holding our final breakfast of 2016 on Thursday, November 10th, at Wow Bao, located at 225 N. Michigan (Michigan & Lake - we’re on the ground floor, right behind the escalators and next to FedEx).
We’ll be meeting from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, and there are only three rules of Geek Breakfast:
- It’s free to attend (you’re responsible for your own food, tax & gratuity);
- We encourage you to post to social media as long as you use the #chicagogeekbreakfast hashtag; and
- We don’t accept sponsorships (We welcome collaborating with other like-minded organizations)
Please RSVP via the Eventbrite link below if you’re coming…and hope to see you there!
