For our March book club selection, we’ll be discussing “A Planet for Rent” by Cuban science fiction author Yoss.

For our February meeting, we had one of the largest turnouts in years to discuss Seanan McGuire’s novella “Every Heart a Doorway”. While we definitely liked the premise and had a lot of good discussion on its possibilities, a big portion of the group felt that it failed to do very much with any of its core ideas or characters. We did note that McGuire is stronger at series-length and that “Every Heart a Doorway” is the first, with more to come.
