The Chicago Nerd Social Club is teaming up with the Adler Planetarium to take us where nerds have always dreamed of going. SPACE! We’re headed to the Planetarium for their Adler After Dark series!
Enjoy cocktails and entertainment against the award-winning view of the Chicago skyline seen only from the Adler. Amble around the Adler’s exhibitions or take in a sky or space show. See Saturn’s rings or Jupiter’s great red spot with your own eyes using the Adler’s telescopes. Peek through the Doane Observatory telescope, the largest telescope in the Midwest accessible to the public or play around with our After Hours Science activities and demonstrations.

The Adler Planetarium has yet to choose a theme for this event, but we’ll keep you posted once they have one.
You must be 21 and over to attend. . A cash bar and full cafe menu is available. Please provide ID at the door.

FYI - The ticket price is only $12 dollars if you RSVP in advance directly through the Adler Planetarium site. We had to add on to the price to handle processing fees and some of our organizing costs. If you want to sign up directly through the Adler site you may, but you won’t be able to check-in through our group process.
