Dr. Who 101 Event
Nerds everywhere will be eagerly anticipating the season premiere of Doctor Who on April 23rd….but many of us don’t know about theseries history. Or we are Doctor Who nerds who are proud and want to learn more.
On April 18th, the Chicago Nerds Social Club will allow you to get your Who on with “Doctor Who 101″
Think of it less as a lecture and more as a timey-wimey exploration of the background on the show. Get a basic understanding of the premise, or for the hard-core Whovians, a chance to show off your stuff. It will be a unique experience spanning time and space, and let’s face it - it’s a great way to get a kick start to your week. Learn about “classic” Who and “new” Who, and get some background into this cult science fiction series.
Bring your sonic screwdrivers, your Jelly babies, and your wind-up toy Daleks, and meet some of your fellow new (and classic) Who nerds.
Tech Nexus has graciously invited us to host the event at their facility! So we’ll be comfortable while we learn about the Doctor as well!
When: Monday, April 18th, 2011 – 7:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Tech Nexus 200 S. Wacker Drive, (15th Floor) Chicago, IL
Cost: Free

I’ll bring my scarf.
I’ll be there; I may even bring stuff.
Just found this site. They should do a repeat of this.
Wish I could go but I doubt I can find the time to drive from Minnesota to Chicago, but I’ll be checking site for updates, mate you could videotape and upload to YouTube and put up the link on site?
I must thank you for the efforts you’ve put in penning this website.
I really hope to view the same high-grade content from you
in the future as well. In fact, your creative writing abilities
has encouraged me to get my own website now
