Rachel Baker credits her parents for beginning her journey into nerdom, by buying her first computer in 1983. Instead of wasting money on that Apple IIe model, her smart parents bought an IBM compatible desktop running MS-DOS 2.0 and going outside to play seemed a lot less interesting.

Rachel loves playing video games (currently playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360) and spent over a year and 1/2 being completely immersed in Azeroth while addicted to World of Warcraft. She loves playing with computers, gadgets, and web applications.

Rachel provides a range of technology services to small businesses including web development and IT consulting through her company, Plugged In Consulting and she writes technology articles on her blog rachelbaker.me and shares others on Google Reader.
